Torta Caprese – Almond & Chocolate cake from Capri

130gr butter
100gr sugar
4 egg yolks
4 egg whites
15gr cacao
130gr grated almonds
30gr potato starch
120gr dark chocolate

Melt the chocolate in a bagnomaria. Cream the butter & sugar. Add the egg yolks, stirring all the time. Add all ingredients ending with the beaten egg whites and sugar.
Butter a 22cm round cake tin, add the mixture & bake in the oven at 170° for about 40′.

Sprinkle with icing sugar.
